Organic Gardens
Feed yourself, not your lawn.
These days, it’s hard to believe that there was a time when people would grow their own food. Did you know that in 1943 nearly half of all vegetables consumed in the US were from backyard garden?
Vibrant sunlight and gallons of water hit our yards daily here in Southern California. Our comfortable micro-climate provides the ideal growing conditions for delicious, organic fruits and vegetables year-round. Did you know that you can grow kiwi, shitake mushrooms, medicinal herbs, goji berries, passion fruit and bananas?
We take countless trips to the supermarket only to find a selection of foreign, pesticide-laden produce. Wouldn’t it be great to just walk steps and have a perfect little selection of delicious edibles for our picking? How good would we feel eating fresh, organic, nutrient-rich greens daily?
Grandma was on to something…
Our intention is to remove the myth that growing your own food is laborious or hard. You don’t need much space; you just need the right set-up. Aside from creating custom gardens, we specialize in providing expert knowledge that will help you discover your inner suburban farmer. With the right tools and practice, you will discover that it’s easier and more fun than you would have guessed. Five to ten minutes here and there can work a miracle. Beyond that, Mother Nature takes care of herself.
No matter how u slice it, we live in a world where…
- 2.5 million gallons of pesticides are used on our food every year.
- Watering the average lawn takes 750 million gallons of water annually.
- Our grocery store produce travels an average of 1,500 miles to reach our shelves.
- Typical American diets feature 60-70 toxic chemicals daily.
